First before you guys go crazy and assume I’m not sensitive to player’s safety there’s a reason to my madness. We all are aware of the after effects of playing muny,highschool,college and professional football. Commissioner Roger Goodell a nd the NFL players union are both working together to make the league safer. There have been several lawsuits from retired players but for some reason we haven’t had one from a current player.
Why we are so concerned
NFL players association can complain all day of the repercussions of playing football but for me there’s no other sport that goes more for the head than boxing. We all know exactly what we are about changing the game? I mean isn’t this the same sports that once played with a leather helmet? All professional players know exactly what they are getting into when they sign the contract but we don’t see them complaining then.
We seem to forget about the other professions who put their lives on the line eve ryday with .5% of what the last man on a NFL roster makes. What about truck drivers, cable guys, and utility workers who can lose the lives in a second if one mistake is made. getting into when you accept a job its your and only your responsibility to accept it. If players are so concerned about the after effects of playing football by all means DON’T PLAY!!!!
